Notice the use of open chord voicings (1st and 2nd open) as opposed to closed chord voicings (unused strings muted)

Also note that although the song is played using the chords in Key of A, a capo is placed on 2nd fret, effectively transposing the key to B. Hence, you are really playing in B although the chords you used are A.
